Food-grade clear plastic tray

Plastic tray is made of clear food grade material and most are transparent colors. If you need other colors, such as brown, gold, black, etc., your order quantity needs to reach a certain purchase quantity, such as 50,000pieces.

Clear tray can actually ensure the food safety of the material to the greatest extent, which is good for chocolate bon bons.  Such plastic material has various thickness, and the thicker, the stronger. However it is also impacted by tray depth, so same thickness material will be thinner if the tray is deeper. 

I would like to address some points for such plastic trays sourcing:

1. There will be tooling cost involved, but it is one-time cost. Therefore when inquiring, you need to pay attention to whether it is included in the quotation, or it is listed separately.
2. It is best to design some finger holes where the finger can hold the chocolate bon bon easily. Some tray walls need to be lower than chocolates or the overall chocolate blister tray is lower than chocolate, so that the chocolate can be easily taken out.

Folded thin card paper dividers

Folded thin card paper dividers are made of 0.25-0.4mm paper board. This kind of divider design requires several pieces of cardboard to cross with each other, so as to form independent space to locate individual chocolate bon bon.

Those paper can be with printing or without, so it can be colorful or plain white. There will be a layer of coating on paper surface. Some dividers will be folded as 1cm width before crossing, so as to have higher end outlooking. 

Here, I would like to address some critical points during such paper divider sourcing:

1. It needs to be easy to fold. When the template is single, you’d better require an unfolded sample, so that you can try to test folding convenience. For rigid packaging boxes, supplier will fold and form the whole set to ship to you, so you don’t need to try folding.
2. You need to check if the paper is strong enough to divide your bon bons.
3. You need to try locating chocolate bon bons into it. If the individual space is too large or too small for one piece chocolate bon bon. If it shakes badly in box, you need to adjust the size of the individual divider.
